APPOINTMENT EXPECTATIONS

PLEASE READ BELOW BEFORE BOOKING!

Slaydown Makeup Studio is fully equipped for your makeup services.

ALL appointments are held in Downtown Phoenix at Slaydown Makeup Studio.

Everything for your look is provided in the cost, including lashes.

*If you have lash extensions, your service cost will NOT be adjusted.*

LOCATION & PARKING

Address: 130 N Central Ave #305, Phoenix, AZ 85004

Due to our Downtown Phoenix location, we kindly request that you allocate an additional 10-15 minutes for parking upon your arrival. You can easily find metered parking on Monroe or Adams streets, providing convenient access to our studio. In case metered spaces are unavailable, a parking garage is situated on Adams between Central and 1st Ave, with the entrance located between 101 North Salon Suites and The Vegan House. Slaydown Makeup Studio can be found inside '130' on Central and Monroe. Please be aware that arriving 10 minutes late will result in the cancellation of your appointment. If we can accommodate your service, a $20 late fee will be applied. No-show clients will be subject to a $35 fee (excluding your initial deposit).

DEPOSITS

​

To secure your appointment at Slaydown Makeup Studio and ensure that our makeup artists are fully prepared to serve you, a non refundable deposit is required. This deposit confirms your commitment to the scheduled appointment and reserves the makeup artist's time and resources for your service.

​

PAYMENT OPTIONS

Deposits can be made using Cash, Zelle, or Square.

Please note that Square payments may incur additional fees.

Missed or Cancelled Appointments

We value your time, and we hope you understand the importance of punctuality.

To maintain fairness and ensure the availability of our services for all clients,

we have established the following policy regarding missed appointments,

Cancellation or Rescheduling

You have the option to modify, update, or reschedule your appointment up to 72 hours before your scheduled time. We provide tools on our website for easy rescheduling; please use them to make any necessary adjustments.

​

No-Show Policy

Failure to properly cancel or reschedule your appointment within the specified time frame will result in the forfeiture of your deposit.

​

One-Time Reschedule

We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise. You are allowed one reschedule opportunity without losing your deposit, provided it is within the 72-hour window.

​

Late Arrivals

Please be punctual for your appointment. Arriving 10 minutes late will result in the cancellation of your appointment. If we can still accommodate your service and reschedule, a $20 late fee will be applied.

No-Show Fee

Clients who do not show up for their appointment and fail to communicate in advance will be subject to a $50 no-show fee, which will be charged in addition to the forfeited deposit.

TRAVEL REQUEST

If you desire an on-location appointment, please utilize the CONTACT US portal, as travel appointments are dependent on availability. There will be a flat fee of $40 for all travel appointments. If the location exceeds 15 miles from SLAYDOWN MAKEUP STUDIO, an additional charge of $2 per mile will apply. A deposit will be required when booking, and the total cost will be provided before confirming the appointment.

EARLY APPOINTMENTS

Any appointments scheduled before 8 am (Early Bird) will incur an additional $25 fee.

​

PAYMENTS

Payments must be made in CASH OR ZELLE ONLY.

SQUARE is also an option, but please note that fees will be incurred.

FOR YOUR APPOINTMENT

We kindly request that you arrive with a fresh and clean face, if possible.

If your appointment is scheduled at a location of your choice (home, studio, etc.), please have the area prepared and ready for service. Rest assured, our service includes a makeup chair, ring light, and all necessary makeup products and tools. If you have any allergies, please use the CONTACT US link above during the booking process to specify your allergies.

COVID-19

Despite the lifting of COVID-19 restrictions, our staff will continue to wear masks throughout the appointment (if deemed necessary). We will also frequently sanitize the workspace and tools. If you have any concerns regarding this matter, please don't hesitate to contact me at mary@slaydownmua.com. If you are feeling unwell, we kindly ask that you cancel your appointment, and please be aware that we will do the same if our staff is unwell.
